This year TD Bank, WestJet and GelaSkins – provided some awesome prizes for Trick or Eat participants!
1) Trick or Eat participants were eligible to win a $25 GelaSkins gift code by fundraising $100 or more online – over 100 Trick or Eaters did it – and if you did – we will be emailing you your gift code next week! Congrats!
2) WestJet generously provided the Gift of Flight – 2 round trip tickets to anywhere WestJet flies! For every $12 you fundraised online you got one entry to win. And the winner is…drum roll please…Elyse A. from Westboro, Ottawa! This is her first time participating in Trick or Eat and she is ecstatic about winning the tickets!
3) And lastly, the $500 scholarship from TD Bank is awarded to the top student fundraiser for Trick or Eat – and the winner is Nathaniel N. from UBC! This is Nathaniel’s third year participating in Trick or Eat and he did a phenomenal job fundraising $2188 dollars! We asked him the secret to his success and this is what he had to say:
“I can’t say for sure what is the formula for success but I am certain that it had something to do with having amazing support from friends and family. My motivation has always been about giving back to the community since I am very fortunate to have a roof over my head and 3 meals a day. It is my privilege and responsibility to pay it forward. Be passionate about you what do and have fun with it, and everyone will be a winner!”
